What the fuck does someone do? Decide "Hey I'm bored, lets go smoke some bath salts". Seriously how the hell do people think of these shit?

FULTON, Miss. (AP) — When Neil Brown got high on bath salts, he took his skinning knife and slit his face and stomach repeatedly. Brown survived, but authorities say others haven't been so lucky after snorting, injecting or smoking powders with such innocuous-sounding names as Ivory Wave, Red Dove and Vanilla Sky.
In Brown's case, he said he had tried every drug from heroin to crack and was so shaken by terrifying hallucinations that he wrote one Mississippi paper urging people to stay away from the bath salts.
"I couldn't tell you why I did it," Brown said, pointing to his scars. "The psychological effects are still there."

I find 2 things disturbing with the way people do drugs today.

1) Where the fuck do these people come up with these ideas? Are there actually people out there looking through chemical lists of stuff to see if things have psychological effects? Are we as a society becoming that dependent on drugs?

2) How do people in some of the worse states for education come up with ways to make this shit? People cannot learn shit in school, but they learn to make meth or how to get high on bath salts. That is pathetic. I guess it just reinforces the idea that people learn, but they're just lazy about what they chose to learn.

How do you think all drugs are discovered?
