Move computer to different room, network is not working... :-(

Hi all - I am new here (and new to networking) and been googling for info to fix my situation, but to no avail.

I have a Dell 4600 that I connected with wire to DSL (Verizon), and have Netgear wireless router MR814v2 on it so that the other computers can connect to it wirelessly (one laptop with Intel(Pro) wireless 2100, and another desktop with TrendNet USB wireless b-series)

Everything worked great and wonderfully - until I moved my Dell to make space for my crowded room, down into the living room. I did make sure I have the same cabling connection (I even drew to make sure I didn't mess up the connection due to the incorrect cables connection). But after that, seems that the network has its own mind. Somedays the wired Dell has internet access while the other 2 can't connect, other days the situation reversed, the wired Dell won't have access (says "limited or no connection") while the other 2 enjoys great internet connection. Seems like it can only connect one at time... either the central is working - or the other two are working - but can't be all of them. In all cases, all computers will say "signal strength excellent", but when I double click on it, the not-internet-accessible computer will have higher sent packet and very low received packet (i.e. 800 vs 5)

This is the IP configuration when the wired (Dell) has internet access while the other two do not:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix:
IP Address : 71.115.15.240
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 71.115.15.1

And this is the IPconfig of the other computer (ie laptop) that can't access to the internet access though it picks excellent signal:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix:
IP Address : 192.168.0.2
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
IP address: fe80::20c:f1ff:fe4d:b795%4
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1

Tunnel Adapter Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface
Connection-specific DNS Suffix:
IP address: fe80::5445:5245:444f%5
Default Gateway:

Tunnel Adapter Automatic Tunneling Pseudo-Interface
Connection-specific DNS Suffix:
IP address: fe80::5efe:192.168.0.2%2
Default Gateway:

In all cases, I use automatic setting to find IP or DNS.

I did follow instructions I can find in the internet up to this point; I install and reinstall the TCP/IP, reset my router, turn of and onn all the hardwares according to specific order - but none works so far. I feel pretty hopeless here since there are other members of the family who need internet access.

Any advice will be deeply appreciated. Big thanks !

Thanks Orion, but I ruled out that possibility since I didn't install any software afterware - only move the computer to different location....*sigh...*

I do not know whether it is the way you describe it, or your system is not configured the way it should.

DSL Modem should be plugged into the WAN port of the Router.

ID and PW are in the Router's PPPOE menu should keep the Internet alive.

Wireless computer, wherever they are, connect wirelessly to the Router.

The Dell is plugged to a regular port in the Router.

The whole thing should look like this, http://www.ezlan.net/network/router.jpg.

If it is Not connect like this, then correct the connection.

If it is connected like this and it worked before then something might be wrong with the long cable that you use for the wired computer.
