Movabletype is a Blog software that uses php etc.

I was looking for alternative software that can be run on my own domain?

Anyone know of others?

Actually Wordpress is developed more as a blogging tool, while Textpattern is more suitable as a CMS.. so it really depends on what you need 🙂

Go to sourceforge and do a project search for blogging software. Their filter-search system is pretty good and I think you will literally find tens (if not more) of projects in this line 🙂
