Mouthwash before or after brushing?

i disagree. listerine gives me great breath :p

and it does not discolor my teeth -- or anyone else's (of anyone i know, at least), for that matter. (seriously, what would be the benefit of a mouthwash -- a teeth cleaner and plaque killer -- if it colored your teeth?!)

have you EVER even used listerine?

Yes I've used it. The benefit of mouthwash is to loosen up the crap on your teeth before you brush. It only colors your teeth if you don't brush afterwards, because the brushing gets rid of the listerine

it really kills bacteria. i even use it to irrigate periodontal pockets in my practice. ;)
