Mousing Surface?

ok, I need to replace my worn out Xide-Pad II and would prefer something similar but with a better surface for laser mice. Any suggestions?

I don't care about LED's or Lights, I just want a good mousing surface that works with laser mice. My current one works great with my MX700 but my laptop's laser mouse doesn't work well at all.

fUnc 1030 works great with my mx1000 which is a laser mouse.

I used the 1030 for many years across several mice (Razer Boomslang 2000 and 2100, Logitech MX 1000). The thing was great. I recently got their new, improved model, the fUnc Archetype with the MBA base. It is a little overkill, yeah, but it looks awesome and should last a long time. The original 1030 is still going strong as my work mousepad. Check them out at www.func.net

I went to Lowe's and bought a 14x14" slab of marble. It makes a great mouse surface, very unique, and works great with a laser mouse. It causes some problems with regular optical mice though, so keep that in mind.

I use an optical and laser mouse so marble wouldn't work.

i had a metal mousepad once
wore patterns into it after 2 weeks :/
