Just got a Kensington Turboring. If you want a 3 button mouse with a scrollwheel and the ball is an index finger ball, get it. Of course it is the only one I have found to meet those specifications, so I guess its not much of a choice. It is a good mouse....

Ok...now onto my problem. I don't like the software that comes with the mouse. For you to be able to program the mouse buttons you have to have the software running. Only problem is, this software likes to bomb out and eat resources(bad for gamers, especially on a PII 266 (soon to be upgraded)).

Is there a way(and if so how) to program the middle button of the mouse. Isn't there a registry setting?
