Mouse stops tracking ever few seconds

but the gets going again then stops the goes ever 4-5 econds

any thoughts on this? hardware conflict i'm assuming

i have removed all the card i have.... i will try a new mouse, but is this an indication of something

If it were me, I would start w/a mouse driver uninstall/resinstall & see if that didn't fix the problem.

My thought exactly. If you do have optical and the surface is reflective, you'll have some problems like you described. An easy test would be to throw a mouse pad or even a sheet paper under it and see if it takes care of it.
 
hey guy sorry i was vague, just got a belkin pre-n desktop card it is a pcmcia card w/ card bus slot, everytime i disable the cardbus ricoh pci card mouse is back in action, i think the card is not compatable with my kt333 via mobo, its so lame
