Default. And I hate working on machines with the retards that turn it down so I have to pick the mouse up and go to the other end of the mouse pad four fucking times just to scroll from one side of the screen to another on a 1024x768 resolution monitor.

I can scroll all the way across the screen of a 1920x1280 25.5" LCD with just a few millimeters over half the mouse pad used.

I can move diagonally across my screen (1920x1200) for 5 cm of real travel (about 2 inches).

The setting isn't universal. Different mice will have a different amount of sensitivity at each setting. I use default with my MX518.

Acceleration is at about midway and sensitivity is about 1/3 max. This is with Gnome's mouse preferences of course

Also, using a Logitech G9 @ 3200dpi, so that might have something to do with my uber low settings. My mouse area is about a 3x4 inch area. I have way too much other clutter on my desk haha.

To move from one side of my screen to the other on a 1680x1050 resolution monitor, it takes about 1/3 of an inch Kinda high sensitivity. I love it.

Always set to highest, no matter what kind of mouse or touchpad I'm using (never used a trackball though). I always leave acceleration off though...which is why I hate that my Mac doesn't allow me to turn off the acceleration, at least not easily.

I try to eliminate software interpolation so as to prevent tracking errors, so pointer speed (sensitivity) is set in the middle (default, notch 6 of 11) and enhance pointer precision (acceleration) is turned off.

I have a Razer Diamonback, and in Windows 7 the sensitivity settings in the drivers don't do shit Whatever Win 7 defaults to is decent I suppose but I miss being able to set it.

Input Director is so much more stable than Synergy but alas it only supports Win.
