mouse sensitivity changes randomly

mx518. i don't have any software for it installed, just plug it in and go with it.


in games sometimes and windows at random it will just reduce sensitivity(speed). a reboot fixes it but it's very annoying.

any ideas? perhaps installing the software for it would help?

Try it with the proper mouse software installed.

Sounds like windows mice drivers are trying to control it. I agree with techmanc and say install the drivers and report back.
