Well my school saw fit to install Solaris 9 on these Ultra 10 machines. :p
The mouse sample rate has got to be well below 60hz, maybe 20 or 30?

Anyone know how to change that? Can it be changed?

Nice! They also managed to break Mentor Graphics, the only thing this lab is good for! CIS is really on the ball this semester, hoo boy.

The mouse sample rate, you know. The rate at which the mouse is sampled?
I noticed because it's horrendous. Moving the mouse at a moderate speed, the cursor chugs over an inch at a time. It's not the CPU being pegged or anything, nothing is running. (see above :p)

Try kdmconfig. Supposedly it needs a console, not the gui though. I found out about it for Solaris x86, but maybe it will work on SPARC.
