Can anyone help with this problem i have it`s driving me nuts !!!!!! . When i turn on my pc my optical mouse LED light is on ok as pc boots up but as soon as the page windows is now starting comes on it goes off and is un-useable , i get the same result wether it`s plugged in the ps2 port or usb , i`ve tried uninstalling the mouse , usb drivers and my modem , because if i unplug the modem from the back of my pc the mouse lights up instantly . All the things i`ve tried don`t work another puzzling thing is if i leave the mouse alone for about 30 mins on average it then starts to work as the light on the mouse starts to flicker then burst into life , once this happens it works fine all the time until i next turn the pc on . I hope someone can offer me something new to try as it`s really P***ing me off now , many thanks in advance .
 
Happened to me once, try turning your computer on with it plugged into usb, and if it doesnt work, unplug it and plug it back in with the computer still on a few seconds later. Thats what worked for me.
 
Did you try all 4 (or however many your motherboard has) USB slots? Sometimes one of mine don't work, I just switch slots and it magically does.
 
Tried all the usb ports even those on the front of the tower , i`m wondering if my psu has a problem even though it works ?
