I was just wondering what people use for gaming, in first person shooters such as UT & Q3.

1.Optical mouse?

Logitech Mouseman+

I´v tried the optical explorer but I didnt like it, good for normal desktop use but not games.
 
Ya I forgot to make it a poll🙂
Anyway I prefere a ball mouse(logi with the wheel)
over the optical. This is my reason:
When you start going off the mouse pad & have to pick up the mouse & scoot it back to center the ball remains still. When you do that with a optical the eye still reads(because you dont pick it up very high) causing your view to go haywire !!🙂

I just wish that logitech would would make a ball(usb) version of that cool new optical, the buttons are smooth!!!
 
ms optical. logitech optical. Stayed away from these cause they said you couldnt play fast moving games with em, this has not been my expeierence. I cant, nor do i think that anyone else can, move their mouse so fast[and actually play] a game that it causes problems.
 
I go with logitech Cordless...which ofcourse is a ball-mouse 🙂
