Mouse Ops

Hi,
Is using a cordless mouse an experience you would recommend? Is the performance gain noticable to that of a USB corded version?

95% of people won't notice the difference in response with a good cordless mouse like the G7, Orochi, Mamba, etc. A lot of the really cheap ones you'll feel quite a bit of lag.

Those 5% will be driven crazy though.

If you just need to keep the cord out of the way, buy a mouse bungie, set up some guides on the edge of your desk, get creative.

It depends what you're doing with it. If you're gaming, I recommend a "gaming" wireless mouse like the G700 or one of Razer's offerings due to the higher polling rate. If you're just doing general productivity work or web browsing, nearly anything will do. Logitech's Performance Mouse MX is very nice.

I did notice a slight bit of lag when gaming with the Performance Mouse MX, though, hence my G700 suggestion.
