Mouse No Worky

Hi Guys, Problem is mouse stopped working out of the blue. I have tried everything I know but nothing helps. I have checked USB ports and tried two other mice. No joy. To make things worse the keyboard is hinky and is not working properly. Can't use mouse keys. Also I was in the middle of re-install of XP. Any ideas on how to abort install?

It would seem that the underlying problem is that you do not have a good XP installation. Reformat the drive and start over.

Why were you reinstalling in the first place?
