Mouse/keyboard sharing without admin rights

I have seen Synergy (http://synergy-foss.org/) is an excellent tool for sharing a mouse and keyboard between two computers. Unfortunately I can't install it because I don't have admin rights (Windows 7) on one of the two computers on my desk. Does anyone know of a similar piece of software that I can run without installing?

Spend the $$ to get a KVM switch or SDK permission. Are you so short of desk space that a keyboard is a problem.
Get a wireless USB package and move the plug around

EagleKeeper - moving around a plug is certainly not the same as having it "just work", and putting two keyboards on a desk and having to switch between them is ridiculous in my opinion.

I will look into KVM switches, but what is "SDK permission"?
