Mouse/keyboard freezing up when I try to type.

I just installed windows xp on rig#1, and whenever I try to type, my keyboard and mouse both freeze up. I am using 4in1's that come default with xp. Any ideas?

This tends to happen in windows when the default ps/2 (mouse/keyboard) drivers are overwritten. It makes both ports freeze up. I'll see if I can find an article on it for ya.

I'll try reinstalling the drivers (normal ps/2 and standard 104) for both of them, i'll pull the original drivers off the XP cd to make sure they aren't corrupted. Hopefully this helps, thanks.
