have:

Win2k SP2
Tbird 1.333 @ stock voltage and clock
Asus A7M266 / 512MB PC2100
RAID-0 highpoint PCI w/1.2x drivers and 1.0.3b BIOS, two 30GB ultra100 Deskstars
third HD - 40GB Deskstar
LeadTek Geforce3 with 21.81 det's
SBLive! Value

and i get a mouse studder anytime the IDE channels hit on ANYTHING, its a USB mouse.

I'm running the .inf from the 4.33 4-in-1's but NOT the IDE busmaster driver for win2k (was told that was the way to go).

All of everything else is FINE in win2k, just that DAMNED studder. If i'm scrolling then the mouse will jitter and the sound crackles.

Please, someone help!!!!!!!

Have you got the USB > PS/2 Adaptor? perhaps try that?

Sounds like it's an IDE issue, especially with the sound crackling.

There has always been a conflict between via and the sb live, try moving the soundcard into a different slot if cracklign continues, as far away from the AGP slot as poss.

Thanks man for the tip! i'll try that as well, but i found that if the drivers and BIOS aren't matched version number wise it causes issues... most issues are better now :)

thanks!
