Mouse issues

I have the Microsoft Wireless optical mouse. I've been using it for about a month now with no problems, then all of a sudden it quit. So i was like WTF and thought it was the batteries so I replaced them with new ones. Sometimes it will work for 30 min and then quit, other times it will work for hours then quit. Any idea's what it might be?

From my experience with wireless keyboards and mice, they will often have problems like that if the receiver is too close to your case, or other electronic devices.

I would try moving it as far away as you can from anything and see if that helps.

Not a bad idea. Its about 3 feet away from my case and monitor, as well as my wireless keyboard reciever....I'll try it though.

Thanks!

Tried more than one position? Proximetry isn't only cause of things like this. Try at least 4 or 5 different places for the receiver. My Logitech mouse was very sensitive to this. No charge if it helps.
