i recently changed my OS from XP to Win2K.
when in XP, Intellipoint had an option called "enable pointer precision". with out it, the mouses movement was confined to an invisiable set of grid points. very annoying. by enableing it, it allowed me to be extremely accurate whht the mouse pointer.
now, in Win2k, even with intellipoint, i have the same problem, but unlike XP, no cure. the option does not appear in win2k.
before you suggest things like ps2 rate and the like, dont, ive already tryed it, plus it wouldnt make a difference, its a USB mouse.
the problem is also in direct 3d applications also, not just the desktop.
