What kind of mouse are you using. Optical? Wheel? Do you notice anything out of the ordinary in normal windows operation? Are you using generic drivers from microsoft or the manufacturers drivers?
it is a cheap GE mouse (a temporary solution until i get the razor diamondback) optical
and im using the drivers that came with the mouse nothing seems wrong in normal windows use
i built the system not too long ago
asus p5gdc-v deluxe
saitek gamers keyboard
p4 2.8
and another question
im using a powmax powersupply that came with a chieftec case and the asus probe
utility give me power warning but nothing effects the computer is this reason for concern
See if you can get updated drivers, or switch to a generic windows driver for the mouse. As for the power supply what's it's power rating, and how many amps on the 12v rail? Seems as though you're setting up a gaming computer, do you also have a high performance graphicas card? Those things can eat up quite a few watts. Even if you're getting a false alarm it might not hurt to get a good PSU.
the powersupply is an LP-6100E with
AC input 115V/230V 10A/6A 60/50HZ
DC output +3.3V +5V +12V -5V -12V +5Vsb Total
30A 50A 25A 0.3A 0.8A 2.0A 500W
dont know where to find the power rating if thats not it
im running on the onboard intel GMA 900 until i get the money for a x800XL (unless you have any other suggestions for around the same price $300)
