Mouse escapes dual monitor in wrong direction - nVidia

I just updated the video drivers from nVidia's 71.84 to 71.89 btw without uninstalling the older version.
All is ok, but for the mouse going from one monitor to the other.
The NEC is on my left whereas the Samsung is on my right. To move the mouse from the NEC to the Samsung I must move left. I have the NEC set as default.

go to display settings, advanced, nview, and pull down the combobox menu to switch monitor positions.

I just did that and no change noted. The mouse still moves from the right of the Sammy to appear in the left positioned NEC. I will try reversing it again to see if it will jolt it to the correct order.

Edit: problems solved. I had to drag the monitor icons to correct positions.
