Mounting something on Carpet?? Need Help

Today UPS dropped my relay rack off that I ordered. I'm going to use it for all my folding machines, and routers, and hopefully add a whole lot more machines to my folding effort.
Here's the problem though, I was hoping the rack would be stable enough on carpet, but I was wrong and it is not.
So my question is, what should I do about mounting it to the floor?
I live in Florida, and am on the 1st floor, so I know there's concrete beneath the laying of carpeting etc, but how would I go about doing this? Hopefully there is someway to do it, without ripping the carpeting up? I realize there's going to have to be a few small holes for the screws to go through in the carpet, which isn't really a big deal, but I'm not sure about how to go about doing all this, and I'm not too great of a handyman type of guy heh.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

On a serious note, they make "guns" that will fire a nail into cement.

Concrete nails, do you guys really think that will securely hold down a 70 lb rack? If so, I'll give it a try

if you're really insecure, get a masonry bit and drill a hole, and use some large threaded screws designed for the purpose.

A hilti or a remington nailer would work for this. It basically uses gun powder and shoots a nail in. These could be rented from your favorite rental store. Other option is a drill with a masonry bit with concrete anchors.

Concrete nails are holding up two walls in my garage .

Get some decent sized washers to use so the nail has something to put force against the rack.

Mount it to a broader base, made of whatever you want... wood, plate steel or even concrete! It seems silly to me, to mount it permanently to the floor.

They make carpet spikes for speakers, like a upside down pyramid...they will put a hole in the carpet that may or maynot be seen (in plush carpet I didn't see them, in 'office' carpet I could)

if it is a tipping issue in one direction you could use a picture hanger (they have them rated to 150lbs or more even) and some wire.
