Mounting old PSU fan in case. How?

I've this fan (12V, 0.14 A) from an old 100W PSU. The case in which I want to mount it already has the 'holes' for the airflow and the screws. The only thing which leaves me clueless is how to connect the fan to the PSU of the system.

Any ideas are welcome.

U can connect it to your M/B connectors if U cut off the two "rails" sticking up on the back of the connector. connect it to the right and middle pin

You can buy the molex and pins and just clip it on.., or just wire it onto another cable.. be creative, there's lots of ways :)

So the red wire of the fan should be connected to a yellow/red wire and the black fan-wire to a black wire?

I thought that yellow was 12 volt, but I'm not too sure :(

Please help me before I kill myself :p

If U going to connect the fan to a standard molex connector from your PSU the red wire on the fan should go to a yellow wire and the black to a black one. If U want to use your M/B connectors cut the fan wires and solder some more wire in between the fan and the connector.

I guess it doesn't really matter which connector I use (mobo or other one)? I've enough unused connectors 'hanging around' in my case, so that seems like the easiest solution.

Thanks for your help :)

That reminds me, what's a 'safe' way to connect the fan-wires to such a connector?
