Mounting Enermax EG365 in Antec SX600

When I try to mount an Enermax EG365 power supply an Antec SX600 case, the shelf below the powersupply cut-out at the back interferes with the fan at the bottom.

What would be the best way to resolve this? Cut off part of the shelf with a Dremel?

I cut a hole in the PSU shelf in my Lian Li PC70 with a jig saw to make an opening for the internal Enermax fan. I had to turn the mounting plate on the back of the case around and drill new mounting holes, also.

Are you actually having trouble installing it, or is it just that the shelf overlaps the fan? I have the exact same set up (with the FC model), and there is overlap, but the case has such good airflow, I never bothered about it. With 3 PCP&C Silencers, the mobo sensor is only a few degrees farenheit above room temperature. I know on the older Enermax's the inside fan guard does stick down farther, but you could also remove it, install the PSU, and then put the screws back in, with or without (if it interferes too much) the fan guard. I had to do that when I installed the PSU in a Lian Li but I could then screw the whole thing back together with the guard.

It's mainly that the fan guard overlaps the shelf and doesn't make for a clean fit, which just doesnt seem right to me. 😉
