Mountain Lion Removal?

I just installed 10.8 on my MBA 128GB...I was wondering if I can remove the download, it's 4GB~ and taking up precious space I assume! Can you delete the file it downloads?

Also, is the icon to show that the app is still running and I should quit it gone? It no longer lights up when I minimize so I know it is still running.

Should be able to delete it from Finder --> Applications

edit: not there. Does the ML install file get automatically deleted after installation?

That is what I am wondering, does it remove itself upon installation?

Any idea on that app still running in my docks icon/little dot?

If there is a little light under the icon, the app is still running, whether you closed the window, minimized, or hid the application. Only if you fully QUIT the application should the light disappear.

That is what I am wondering, the little light/blotch is gone now for all my apps when I minimize or anything. It used to be there before the upgrade, so I was wondering if they removed it?

Well... here's the things...

1: I haven't updated to Mountain Lion yet, though I was running the betas.
2: I use the side dock, and definitely noticed the dots there, but I don't minimize stuff.

I minimize all the time, probably a windows habit..but I also like to make sure they're closed/process killed!

Anyone else notice this? Or have any idea if that downloaded 4.x GB file goes away after install?

to get the little dot light to show up, go to:

System Preferences --> Dock --> Check "Show indicator lights for open applications"

Thanks, will try!

Any idea on the upgrade file removal, or is it gone?

according to this it's automatically deleted:

Note: As explained in our main Mountain Lion-installation article, if you leave the Mountain Lion installer in its default location in the Applications folder when you install OS X 10.8, the installer will be deleted automatically after the installation finishes.

Looks like that was checked, and I can see a SMALL blurb at the bottom, can you make it bigger like it used to be? The light is soo tiny/not bright now!
