Me too. Sure the lion was only doing what it naturally does. But so were we -- we were protecting our own kind. The lion now knows that humans make good prey. It might even have developed a particular liking to human flesh -- it would have been too dangerous to relocate it.
 
Wow! When you go mountain biking in Florida, you only end up running over alligators and they typically get so spooked that they just run the other way. Oh... well... there's the wild boar, but I've never heard of anyone getting hurt by one. Just chased. 😉
