mountain bike horn

This morning I decided to take out my Specialized Hardrock sport for a test run outside in the development. I went pass a neighbor on a bike and he honked his bike trinket horn. I didn't have one so I couldn't return the favor except by noding my head and waving my hand to my effort for keeping the bike steady.

Now my question is, do I need to outfit my bike with a trinket horn as well, so I can acknowledge people as I pass by them on trails and such. I only have 2 months left of the summer.

lol... its the same bike as yours... changed a few parts here and there...

im on the bigring if i'm just riding around the neighborhood, otherwise i'm on the small chainring.

I see you changed to clipless pedals and a different seat. Do tell me about that. And also, there is that one poster who might have meant that he or she does have a trinket horn.
