Hah, yeah even my car can break 200kph, but it really starts wheezing at about 133-134mph. Even if I had a F458, I have no place to do 200mph though. Don't ask me where I did 130+, but yes it was safe.
 
what about exdeath? might he have enough power to push that brick of his to 200? 😛

Yeah I think exd should be good, he was well over 600whp easily IIRC. Assuming the gearing, downforce, and tires are there, should be gold.
 
3.55 rear end, 0.63 6th gear, 315/35/17 tires, mathematically that's 220 mph at 6500 RPM... and technically I have the cooling mods for it, but that's not nearly enough.

Power and gearing are only half the story. Traction -not speed rated- drag radials, factory cast alloy wheels, lack of aero of any kind... and of course enough road. Highest I've ever gone is 140 at the top of 4th gear.

This guy broke 200+ mph with 614 RWHP, amazingly with no aero or underbody work at all:

I don't see myself ever trying that, I'm more of a 0-60 in -3 seconds guy. This car is built to terrorize city blocks and stop lights, not to be glued to the ground at 200 mph 😀 I'd rather do that in a Z06 regardless if the Cobra is capable of it or not.

I only ask as motor trend (been watching a lot of car videos on YouTube😛) wanted to do this with 4-5cars on a 3mile runway!!!! They had a 599, slr, bently, and a gallardo 560 I think. They hot 200mph on the speedo for all the cars apart from the bently, but the 599 was actually 196mph or so and the slr was closest at 199.1 on their timing device. No doubt if he had more runway he would have reached a higher speed n the speedo to compensate and reach a legit 200mph!

The speed of the speedos was sick...pulled hard until 150 then they were still pulling till 200 but at a slower rate, pretty dam amazing!

I've hit 170mph on my speedo (e46 m3) in Germany which was 160 on the gps. Got to 140 fast then 150-170 was slow 😛
