I actually really enjoyed the first one and still play it from time to time, to this day. I hope they fix the annoying vehicle selection screen though (psssst, have an optional install this time--it's better than not having one at all).

Fun game, looking forward to the new settings too.

Heh - at least they're up-front about the trailer being CG this time.

Yeah, the jungle setting looks cool. I half expected characters from Far Cry and Crysis to show up when I read "remote Pacific Island" over at Joystiq.

I was annoyed in the first one when I only had a couple cars to choose from by default. It was alright though I guess.

...with Nano Suits!

yea I loved the first one, and my main complaint was the lack of split-screen, because it was one game my friends really wanted to play too. I got 3 controllers right now, need to pick up a black DS3 to compliment the white DS3 I imported back in November. That way I'll have four for the assorted upcoming games supporting 4-player gameplay. Finally going to start getting games where I can get 3 other people to play along.
