Motorola V2397 Cell Phone for 4.99 at CC

I've got this phone only for its battery (my digital camera uses AAAs and I don't care about AT&T wireless). Kinda dissapointed--it uses 3 AAAL cells. They look like AAA, only 3/16" longer. Need to find different use for batteries 🙁

So if you want this one as "$4.99 700mAh battery + digital charger", beware!
 
is there anyone that is willing to pick or sell me one of these phones?

Bizarre that this does not seem to require activation. Anyway, I don't really think this is much of a deal, this is a low end phone that is often available for free at cell phone stores, like the Nokia 5165. If you're going to activate with a carrier anyway, what difference does it make?

On the item page it shows that the item is available in my store, but when I add it to my cart and try to check out, it shows up as unavailable in all of my stores and direct ship. I'll just have to swing by in the morning and check it out at the store.

Bill, the phone sucks but I can't think of any mobile phones that are being produced right now that aren't worth $ 4.99 . Come on. I would say market value on just about everything that is posted on this board is........... whatever it will bring on Ebay.
 
Actually ended up by the end of the day today, we got 40 of them.. and they are sold already.. time to buy a new machine with the money made 😉 thanks, for the deal!

search google, ebay, and other online sites for people that are buying them.. i found a lady that bough 15 of them from some guy, so we emailed her and offered her the 40 phones for our price 😉 and she agreed.. she paid half through paypal and the other half on COD.. hehe we already got the paypal money, and we're sending the phones out monday.. Ill probably post a picture of the 40 phones, they are fun to play with, like building blocks!! haha 🙂..
 
i know i don't have any right to feel this way, but i am mad that u brag about hogging a hot deal so you can profit while others might not even get a chance to get a needed phone 😛
