Anyone has experience with these phones? I am thinking about getting a new phone... would like to hear if there's any compliants about any of these 3...

I originially wanted to get the Nokia 8390, but my friend said it has software problems and the phone would hang/shutdown by itself...

So now I am looking at the Motorola T193 and the Nokia 3590...

I like the 8390 the best. As a former user of the 8290, the size is just fantastic, you never even realize its in your pocket. Plus the battery life is amazing for such a small phone. I had my 8290 on for 5 days once without recharging (and i used it fairly often as well).

Not sure about the software problems, but check Howard Forums and see what peeps there say...

I have the 8390 with the v7.8 firmware and have had zero problems so far, although it doesn't allow you to use operator logos. :( No software problems encountered yet, but I've only logged 3:06:02 of talk time so far. Here's the review of the Nokia 8390 I used to judge my buying decision.

If you're looking for a more feature-packed phone, check out the Nokia 6310i. It's taller than the 8390 but a slick-looking phone in its own right - even lets you download custom Java applets to execute on the phone itself!

I have the motorola t193, word of advice....DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF SHEEEYOT!!! It's one of the worst phones ever made. Battery life sucks, menu and navigation is really inconvenient, plastic cover tears easy, etc... I'm sure motorola makes better phones but this definitely isn't one of them. Buy something else.

yeah I have read reviews about the motorola T193 that says the same thing... so right now I am pretty much deciding between the Nokia 3590 and Nokia 8390...

the 3590 is 1/2 the price of the 8390, and has J2ME & MMS support... while the 8390 is smaller and looks better :)
