Thats what I have. As the title says, works fine for phone calls, but not for music with my phone. Obviously its paired up, as it works with phone calls. I tried it on my laptop, again doesnt work with music. Paired up fine with the laptop too.

Is there something Im missing? Ive read the manual over and over, although its only one page dealing with pairing it. And doesnt have anything specific for music. I dont understand why it works with phone calls, and not with music from the same phone.

needs A2DP to stream music, not all phones have that. I would assume the Lappy should, but it's also possible it doesn't. You don't need to do anything special to get a BT headset to stream music, just both devices need to support the A2DP protocol. And seeing your link it's obvious your headset does :) Which cell do you have? and lappy model too.

It's almost a given that BT2.0 "music phones" have A2DP, but then the iPhone had to go set a new example (screw those guys).

new example? my Sony Ericsson "walkman" phone came out a bit before the iPhone and it doesn't have A2DP. the phone was touted as the ultimate mp3 player :)

Does it have Bluetooth 2.0? That's the crucial factor. The iPhone does, yet lacks A2DP. The Juke doesn't have BT, so it understandably doesn't have A2DP.

OP: I've seen possibly pirated knock-offs of those headphones too. Did yours come from Best Buy?
