Hi there,

I'm thinking of buying a new smartphone but I don't know which one to buy : The Samsung Galaxy S3 or the Motorola Moto G.

The Galaxy S3 (16Gb Model) costs around 300euros in Belgium and the Moto G 230 euros (16Gb Model)

Now which one is better for me? I like to play games on it and I heard both are almost the same in speed but How About the Gpu?
I really don't know how powerful the S3 is in terms of GPU because It's a custom Mali-400MP, The Adreno 305 GPU in the Moto G is quite nice I heard.

I also Now that the Moto G has Gorilla Glass 3 For screen protection instead of Gorilla Glass 2. The camera's of the Moto G are good enough for me.

I'm upgrading drom a galaxy Y so Both Phones look very nice to me.

Thanks.

The s3 has 2gb of ram a larger screen and I believe it's faster too. The moto g is running 4.4 now which the s3 won't get and it's cheaper for you to buy plus it will probably get a few more updates. I don't know how 4.4 handles ram management so the moto g may have issues slowing down but I don't know my note 2 is running 4.3 still

Moto G. Faster SoC, stock 4.4, fast updates, 720p IPS, vs Pentile Amoled.

GS3. 2gb RAM, expandable storage and removable battery.

If it were me the Moto G would be on its way to my doorstep.

Faster SoC
Only in perfectly multithreaded situations... and not even that if it's the i9500.

The i9505 has LTE, though I don't know how widespread that is in OP's area.

Main consideration might be limited storage, esp. given the space 3D games take up.

Thanks for given your opinion and Sorry for the late reply.

In my country (Belgium) has the S3 only 1Gb of ram.

If you can get LTE makes or breaks it.

Not really

HSPA+ here gets me the same speeds as LTE. (20+ Mbps download, 10+ upload)

I know, the whole latency thing, but were talking tiny amounts of time difference.

Anyways, I'd personally go Moto G, as I'm not a fan of touchwiz.

Better yet, get a used Nexus 4.

I don't want a nexus 4 because the glass back,I personally don't like it + I also don't like buying used phones so I think I'll just go for the Moto G
