So about two weeks ago, I buy a new phone through T-Mobile, a Motorola V330. My trusty 2-year-old Sony Ericsson T610 was showing signs of wear and tear. (The vibrate function was hit or miss and the joystick was no longer 100% responsive.) So tonight I try to call the GF. I must have tried 20 times, both with as little as 2 bars and as many as all 5, and after 20 seconds, I would get "call failed". And many times, after a failed call, the phone would crash and reboot if a second call attempt was made immediately after.
Jeebus, I almost threw the damned thing against the wall several times tonight! I guess the moral of the story is that a brand-new Motorola phone is sh!t compared to a 2yo Sony Ericsson!
This thing is going back to T-Mobile. In the mean time, i stuck the SIM card back into the T610, plugged it into the charger, turned it on, and now I'm back in business!
