Hey guys i just got my droid today, just a questions.
i didn't make to the store in time for them to do it.
seems like the battery gets pretty warm, and one else notice that.


1. can i sysc my phonebook from verzion site.

I'm assuming you mean from another phone to your new Droid? I'm not sure if you can do it online I just had them do it in the store for me, transferred pics/contacts etc. I imagine there should be a way. And depending on use the battery can get warm, I've never had it get too hot though.

Meh I found a way to do it online but it makes you download and app to your previous phone and pay 1.99 to use it to back them up then export them to a CSV file then import into your gmail account. Would be easier to do it in a Verizon store.

the backup assistant program fee is waived if you have a verizonwireless.com account set up and active. i use that for my kids phones, have never been charged a penny for it.

I hope this isn't a stupid question but when porting contacts can you do it from another carriers phone? In our case US cellular to verizon? (samsung twostep to moto Droid)

Don't mean to hijack just asking a question that was close to the op's.
