So I'm looking at both these phones as they have smaller 3.7" screens. The defy comes in at about 9mm shorter than the Neo, which is nice.
The Defy is powered, from what I gather, by either the TI OMAP3610 or OMAP3630 clocked at 800MHz which means that it has got PowerVR SGX530 GPU.
The Xperia Neo has the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 @ 1GHz and Adreno 205.
As I understand it, at stock settings, the 205 and 3630 trade blows.
However, the various modded roms such as CM7 for the Defy (which has been out much longer) bring the performance past the Neo's...
Considering both of these are "high-midrange phones" understandably I'm looking at price. The Neo's stylings are a bit riskier than the Defy's, which I like, and I can get it in red too. The Defy, though, is slightly smaller, though a bit thicker and winder.
What are your thoughts?
