Motorcycle CHPs carrying AR-15s now?

I have watched CHiPs dozens of times and I don't remember either of them carrying AR-15s. Bummer.

BTW that might be the most annoying TV theme of all time.

CHiPs was just a campy TV show about the real California Highway Patrol or CHP.

That said, I haven't seen any CHP Motorcycle cops carrying an AR-15 on their bikes.

Pics or shens. I've lived in Cali for 20+ years and have never seen a Moto CHP.

You serious? I've been pulled over by at least one over the years and our local police departments have several motorcycle patrol vehicles (I've been pulled over by one of those too).

you guys remember that episode where the car thief gang had a van with a hydraulic fork on the side and they would pull alongside cars at highway speed and use the fork to lift the victim's car off the ground? damn that show sucked.

There is an amazingly stupid episode where a guy on a motorcycle locks up mentally because of the incredible speed of his bike and of course pooch and john have to ride up alongside him and take his hand off the throttle and bring the bike to a stop before encountering a traffic jam up ahead. I see it posted from time to time on some of the motorcycle forums I post on.

That show was unwatchable...unless you were 10 years old or had the mental capacity of a 10 year old.

I'm totally serious! I only see undercover CHP and CHP cruisers, but never motos. It's weird!

I see CHP motos several times a week. I have never seen one with an AR15 though.

I see the CHP on bikes all the time, mostly BMWs these days (used to be all Harleys). Never seen one with a long gun, though. They do have a special holster off the gas tank for their lidar gun sometimes, though. I think they get a kick out of quick-drawing that shit like the Terminator when your car approaches their hiding spot.

As for CHiPs, I used to watch that show all the time as a kid. The best part was how they always got new girlfriends in every episode, and they were always matched up according to hair color.

So you are saying you had a non-sexual man crush on Eric Estrada?

No, I was saving myself for David Hasselhoff and his awesome talking Thunderbird. 😉
