sure to get flamed for this, but I love my 2015 moto e, I use it more than my nexus 6. I'm interested in a sub 5 phone with a top notch cam. i was at least hoping for a souped up pure x, guess not.

back to samsung?

Second Gen? Well, my wife has the moto e. Dunno how many times she has dropped it. Not a chip or a crack on it... lucky maybe? No case... But she got it because she is Chinese and, small hands and all. Didn't want a huge phone and seems perfect for her. I didn't want it, because... well, I really like the camera in my S6, and the screen is perfect. Bright and easy to read.

Now, maybe if Moto up the camera to S7 specs with a nice flash... (no flash for moto). and made the screen super HD. I'd probably buy one. I really hate samsung bloatware... Oh and made it 64 or 128Gigs. Even tho, I think the moto E is just lollypop, I think it should be able to run android latest. Then, yes please! I'll switch...

Touchwiz is getting old.

I don't need a phone, but the Force looks interesting. I am not a fan of metal bodies, I'd prefer a plastic body (probably in the minority I don't care). Not a fan of the huge bezels, and I personally hate physical buttons on the side my thumb always seems to find the power button when I'm using a phone like that. As soon as I get used and prefer LG's buttons on the back they revert back to the side also arghhh. Anyway.

The specs look about as good as any other phone, but we'll see how the camera performs. The shattershield is the number one draw imho. Realize that most folks posting here are *enthusiasts* so the general public walking into the store will not be bothered by display technology or amount of RAM, but will like the durability of the display and how easy it is to use. Motorola does have some useful apps built in...

My moto e is running cm 13 with a 200gig card in it. I guess part of my love also is how cheap it was, so no pressure if I break it.

I had the Moto X Pure for a bit last year and I was a big fan. Slim bezels and great sounding front speakers were my main likes.
Was looking toward to this year line-up until I saw some of the leaks. It was announced and much to my disliking, more bezels for the latest version.
I know, I know. Whats the deal with a little more bezels. To me, phone these days runs pretty much the same so the #1 thing for me is aesthetics and that means minimal BEZELS.
This year Moto Z fucked it by going the HTC route. WTH did you have to add a Moto logo on top of the square button and therefore adding more bezels.
Motomods are very interesting. Let see how the public will react.

Im not excited
