Looks like I got really lucky with the verizon dev edition. I was sitting in my cisco class refreshing the page while the instructor lectured lol.

Haha worst online sale ever. It's been over 6 hours since the sale was supposed to happen and moto maker has not worked once. What do I have to do to get a green/white/orange phone around here.

I got mine ordered about an hour ago! Woohoo! Only reason I didn't wait till MotoMaker came up is the fact that I would like to sell my devices, and I don't want to lose $$$ selling it!

Does a Moto X sold to AT&T subscribers fully work on T-Mobile, including HSPA+LMNOP?

The at&t one doesnt support 3g on AWS bands.

In refarmed t mobile cities you will get PCS band 3g. And LTE works in all LTE areas which are generally refarm cities

Dammit, okay. Buddy had a ATT Moto X. We were interested in trading for a while for my TMO HTC One.
Thx for chiming in.

No it's blank. Its. Basically just an unbranded penta band phone with LTE . it'd be like buying an overseas phone that supported all tmobile bands

And then, then there's Verizon, who, "oh, if you want us to deem it "compatible" with our network, we're slapping our logo on it!" just couldn't resist, even though they weren't even offering it up subsidized.
:colbert:

However, can anyone confirm the VZW Developer Edition is equally as compatible network wise as the GSM model? I've heard that is the only Verizon model of the Moto X that is so worldly compatible. Sure, I could look this up - figured I'd ask here first in case anyone knew off the top of their head. 😉

I think its a good thing that verizon models have the logo... since they are basically proprietary models, they should be labeled as such...

reason I say that... awhile back, right before the gsm galaxy nexus became available on the google play store, I was searching for a gsm unlocked nexus. I bought one unlocked from amazon.

It was listed as the GSM unlocked version, but when I got it I found a verizon logo on it. I tried to return it to the guy but he fought me on it, told me it was unlocked for att and that it was fine. However it wouldn't recognize any sim cards that I put into it. I wanted the model with aws bands.

I ended up having to do a chargeback on the guy to get a refund. It would be terrible if there were verizon models floating around out there that you couldn't tell the difference between them and any others.
