As anyone found a way to enable motion blur in Far Cry 2?

just move around really fast

Alternatively, shake your head really fast or change the focus of your eyes when you need the blur.

yup... Disappointed with FarCry2. I kinda want to play it, but everything is the same, it's gonna take hours and hours to get though the same roads, the same killing of the same fork in the road just to do the same mission.

Aww it sounds like you're only a couple hours into it! That was precisely my sentiment when I started, especially after the first few daunting crossroads...but it honestly gets much better. Most of the time you can blow through them with a jeep, find a spot on the road to stop and kill the jeep trailing you (usually if I see a blinking green light on the gps i'll stop and kill two birds with one stone).

As far as motion blur, I hated it in Crysis. I am glad they didn't include it in FC2, though the games tan and brown hues make it look rather bland.

I thought Far Cry 2 was fun. I don't think it felt like what Far Cry 2 should have been but its still fun IMO. It is a very long game and I like games that have hours after hours of gameplay and it certainly has it.

People complained about the aliens in crysis and the mutants in far cry , but they were a gameplay choice in terms of providing variety and a different challenge. The problem with Far Cry 2 is that you can take any decent rifle with a scope and the game just becomes really easy. I played it just below the hardest setting (nightmare is always too cheap) and the game never evolved in terms of getting more difficult.

Fun game, but not challenging. And got way to tedious with running to different parts of the map. Also, i wonder if doing side missions even changes the ending...

Yup, I recently beat Far Cry 2 and I don't think it was that bad. It gets a bit better towards the end when there is a bit more depth to why you are killing the new people.

Also, like stoneburner said, the sniper rifle makes it really easy. I beat the game on hard, and used the semi-automatic sniper rifle that holds 25 rounds in the clip and one-shot-kill. Forget what it was called
