Motion Blur Feature Coming to Far Cry...

Hope they don't leave us 6800 owner's out.
Why do suspect that? Why the hell would they leave out 6800 owners? If anything they will only leave out x800 owners because farcry is one of those TWIWMTP games.

Agreed. I am only suspect b/c the article refers to ATI showing off their nex gen cards...and we all know that ati and nvidia are in a perpetual pissing contest.

Does anyone remember the motion blur feature for Quake 3 in the Voodoo 5 series? emm, good ole times

Am I the only one that think's it's impractical?
It's going to take a huge framerate hit. It'll play/look much better without it.
There's a reason why no one implementetd it, because it's useless.

From the demos that I've seen, it looked like crap.

I also agree that it's not really something that would make it more real - waste of time.

Plus, I already beat the game. I also think that Crytek is wasting their time with all these new features - after people have already beat the game.

Why would they have motion blur in a first person shooter? 😕 Why not a racing game or something?
I love how they keep adding little things to Farcry though.
