So it sounds like someone went into my mother's office at her hospital last night and stole her wallet out of the room. She's already canceled all of the credit cards that were taken, but she mentioned that her social security card was in there as well, so I told her she should definitely pick up a credit monitoring service (lifelock maybe?) for at least a few months to be sure no one tries to open a new account.
Beyond that, anyone have any recommendations I can send her way?
Given that her SSN might now be compromised, I'm wondering if she should just go ahead and switch over all of her accounts (including checking, savings, etc.), just in case.
