Unfortunately in Haiti's case... they can barely grow any food. There was an excellent article in a recent National Geographic about soil. Due to deforestation in Haiti, the country has lost much of its topsoil and it ability to grow their own food. It is not something they can get back.

Let nature sort it out. Haitians need to exercise self-restraint when it comes to sexual intercourse. If they do not, they will faces the consequences of their irresponsibility.
