mothers always ask the strangest thing

I just got up... and ran into mom and was told "son you don't look very well. You look blue and there are some trails by your eyes" "have you been crying hun, what's the matter?".... I simply told her "no, I'm just fine".. she responds "no you're not.., what's the matter?".. I acted fine and made up some BS and got out of it, but it never cease to amaze me how mothers notice such little things. . . Fine maybe she knows, but why the confrontation?

dammit beau, if this turns into another waaaaaah thread, im blaming YEW!

Jerboy, I'm more amazed not at what your Mother notices about you, but at what she has to constantly overlook, just to retain her sanity.

Does she do your laundry? Just a thought.

Well, Jerboy, one thing I know in this life - mothers are always right about their children. You know, they just feel it. So you were feeling blue? Why? What caused your sadness? Come, tell us what you really think, don't hide behind your steel fence no more!

hahaha yeah right. I'm a pretty good boy. Just because I rant on ATOT doesn't make me a troublesome kid.

Not usually. She does mine when there is lots of room in the washer after my parents' laundry and I do the same and run their stuff through when there's lots of room after I put my stuff in. It saves water and energy that way.

Appears to be. They feel the need to question and confront about something they already know.. you know what I mean ?

Hey I'm not her six year old anymore. I haven't been six since twelve years ago. Guess I'll always be her baby in her eyes though.

neways, were you crying?

More or less... she had it right. Mothers are always right, aren't they?

neways i'm happy to have a mom that still cares so much! 🙂 altho i admit it can get VERY annoying at times... oh well only a while till ya move out, eh? 2 months for me... can't wait! 😀

Mom's just know. That's all.

As far as "why the confrontation," she loves you and she's concerned. Try and put yourself in her shoes.

My mom can tell there is something wrong with me just by the look on my face, or the tone of my voice - even if i'm trying to hide it. And if I just say 'nothing', she will pry pry PRY until she forces it out of me.

I love her 🙂

i'm guessing it has to do with outlets or lightbulbs. 😉

What were you crying about sweetie?????

Combination fo many things. The greatest impact was a fall out with a good friend of mine. I haven't talked to her in a while and she was kind of getting on my nerves and was clingy. I was already in a icky mood. She started telling me how she miss hanging out with me and she accuse me of disliking her. So I flipped and told her to *ck off and stop *ucking talking to me if she doesn't like the way I handle things. She stormed off and ran home after it. She is a good friend and I just feel so terrible for what I did. I'm really upset at how pushy she was and how I handled the problem so harshly. Plus, I have to start going to school over the summer to make up for the F's and knowing my summer is fux0red big time, add that with sore throat I'm dealing with and little problems I need to deals with, I couldn't handle it anymore. . .

Update: mommy pried me about a zillion times. I gave up and told her the whole story. That's how it usually happens when you try to hide things from your mom.

Why were you crying?
I posted, read it.
I can't fix your throat and I can't fix your grades, but you'd better go see that friend of yours pretty soon. Give it a couple of days and then see her in person.
