Motherboards

AOpen: Looks cool, decent feartures, but not a good value because of high price.

ABit: It has RAID, and a solid set of features.

FIC: A bit less featurewise. Does not look cool at all.

MSI: Decent board, excellent features, great value. Has all the features of the AOpen and ABit KT7 (no raid though) but at a lower cost. Also the most stable board.

DFI: Er.... I have no idea.

I'd go with the MSI, although I'm also tempted to try the AOpen. Both are quality boards. The MSI is the better value though, and the board of choice.

I did my reseach. But none of them tell you about
conflicts with video, sound, usb or com port. So you tell me?
If I don't ask how do I know? The Abit mobo KA7-100 didn't say
any thing about it. So now I can't use but one CDrom knot both
or my usb cam. Because not enough IRQs.

I'd have recommended staying away from Abit. The MSI KT7 PRO 2A is the favored board and with good reason. It's the best. 🙂

Another vote for MSI K7T PR02A,Btw my own MSI K7T PRO board works well with SBLive value,Geforce2 Card also using Crucial ram.

🙂

Thanks for the help. I'll have to take a shot in the dark.
So many people say ASUS DFI FIC MSI ABIT AOPEN. I have had
Biostar and AOpen now I have and Abit. The best one was the
AOpen it let me use my cdwriter and cdrom, ls120, hard with
on conflicts. But no one tells me if they have conflicts
with there mobos. So I'm no were on this problem. But think
you for your help again.
