Do they come with built in fans or must I buy a seperate fan to place it on my motherboard?
ex. Asus A8N SLI DELUXE

I dont know, i took apart my old P4P800 board and it had a fan on the motherboard. I did not pay for that fan, so im assuming motherboards come with built in fans...

Some motherboards (like the one you have got) do have a little heatsink & fan on the chipset to keep the temps down. Other motherboards will just use a passive heatsink on the chipset (i.e., a heatsink with no fan). If the motherboard doesn't have the fan when you buy it, chances are it doesn't need one.

(All motherboards of course require a large heatsink and fan to be installed on top of the actual CPU!)
 
That's probably the Northbridge cooler. Most boards nowadays come with pretty decent NB coolers. I did have an Epox board once that had a little fan cooling the caps right by the cpu socket.

The Asus A8N SLI Deluxe does come with a small fan on the chipset. See here. (The fan is the white square shaped object with the circle cut out of it.) I.e., the fan is already attached to the motherboard when you buy it.

 
Im getting my A8N SLI DELUXE sometime this week. Will that motherboard come with a large heatsink and fan on top of the CPU or will I have to buy it seperate?

No, the heatsink/ fan for the CPU usually comes packaged with the CPU, not with the motherboard. (ALthough you can buy the heatsink/ fan separately).

Have you bought your CPU yet?

your 3800 amd 64 should come with it's own heatsink/ fan in the box

If you buy a retail "boxed" CPU. OEM CPU's come with just the pricessor.
