What's the difference between the:

GIGABYTE "GA-K8NS PRO"

and the

GIGABYTE "GA-K8NSNXP"

Are theese gigabytes boards good? If so which ones should I get?

What's the diffrence between the:

EPoX "EP-8KDA3+"

and the

EPoX "EP-8KDA3J"

Which board should I get if I should get an Epox?

Is the gigabyte better than the Epox? I'd choose the EPox but it has no firewire =(.

I'm almost done with my computer I just need to find a motherboard PSU and printer and software!!!

If you want onboard firewire the Soltek doesn't have it. I recommend the Asus K8NE

I've used several Gigabyte motherboards and they were all nice and didn't have any problems at all. If you like the Gigabyte board, go for it.

GA-K8NS Pro: 1 Lan port (Gigabit).

GA-K8NSNXP: 2 Lan ports (first is Gbit, second is 10/100), 1 DPS slot (Gigabyte's special redundant power regulation system... dunno how useful/important that is)

Pretty similar actually. Much less of a difference than Epox' 2 nf3 boards.

Ok so it's Asus K8N-E Deluxe vs the Gigabyte K8ns pro, which is better, how good is overclocking with the gigabyte board, and how good is the warranty

the GA-K8NSNXP has the dual power slot thingy which is suppose to give cleaner power which SHOULD help it with overclocking(the pro doesnt have it), iv heard of the gigabyte running high temps, you should check out the 'motherboard' forums(if you havnt notice, we have one here) to see what other people who have the motherboards your thinking about getting have to say about them

i cant recall to much about the asus

have fun reading about them

edit: i ran across this
http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=27&threadid=1371361&enterthread=y
the asus can't overclock more then 220fsb
http://www.ocworkbase.com/reviews/13_userreview_trans_am/
so it looks like its not gonna be the board for you.

I have no idea why people are like this over hardware... Just read the specs, figure out what you want, try to find some reviews, and BUY ONE!

I bought the Soltek just cause I love Soltek.. it works flawlessly. what a surprise! does that help?
