I'm looking for a new mATX motherboard for my HTPC - I've found a bunch that have HDMI output, which I also need, but I want to make sure I get one that I can plug my speakers directly into, also.

Any recommendations?

MSI 7411, aka Media Live Diva 5.1. I own one and have found it was worth the extra $$. I had a dead Yamaha receiver (lightning strike) and six speakers with nothing to power them, so I bought the MSI board and rebuilt my HTPC to take advantage of the features of the board.

Edit: Added link - MSI Diva

The Z5500 is powered, and has 3 stereo analog inputs. With simple adapters you can connect any mobo with 5.1 analog outputs -- which is pretty much all of them in the HTPC category.

The Diva is really neat, though.

I was hoping to spend a little less than what the Diva costs. That must be a great mobo because everyone seems to be recommending it :)

Any other recommendations?
