Motherboard Upgrade and WinXP

Hello,

I am going to change my motherboard from an Asus A7V to the A7V133. However, here are my questions:
  1. 1) Will I need to Reformat?
  1. 2) Is there a way of letting Windows RE-initialize/detect a motherboard WITHOUT reformating?
  1. 3) WinXP will allow parts to be upgraded without re-registering, can you swap a MOBO without re-registering?

Thanks for any help!

Thanks.

I was thinking that there was some way of "removing" all the motherboard components from the System Menu and then rebooting. I tried to do a search and find it, but I couldn't.

I guess if Ihave to reformat, then I will.
