I want to know What Can be solderd on the free space on the middel in the picture.

Can't tell from a photo alone. You could try looking for photos of other versions of your motherboard that have something in that space. Even if you can't read the part number, you might be able to deduce what it is from differences in the motherboard feature list.

Don't expect to be able to solder a chip in and have it work though. There are almost certainly other components needed too, and probably a different BIOS.

Thanks. I think I will try soldering a 30pin AirPort conector there. I hope the bios have supert for this.....

Um yeah, that's not how that works. You can't just solder anything you want to a circuit board and expect it to function.

I know.... But for this perticular socket I think I have a fair chance. Do you know any other 30pin connector that Apple uses btw? Make sense that Apple would use it in that space also.

Apple tv1. I saw this 30 pin connector in macbook pro a year after.... but they did use a mini pcie for the wifi card insted. So Mabye this spot is for that, due those wifi card was not finnished in production...!?

There is a big difference in electrical and physical connector standards. You aren’t likely to accomplish anything useful with your experiment, but I’m in for updates.
